Duration of graft cold ischemia in long-term follow-up of orthotopic heart transplantation

Aim. To evaluate the effect of duration graft cold ischemia on long-term prognosis orthotopic heart transplantation (OHT). Material and Methods . The study included 60 patients, who had receieved OHT in Meshalkin National Medical Research Center since 2012. influence outcome follow-up was evaluated. Survival, quality life according to SF-36 questionnaire, parameters cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) were assessed. Results. group 210 (175 – 340) minutes. minimum time 158 minutes; maximum 430 Graft for more than 240 minutes registered 42% cases. survival rate 87% follow-up. Exercise capacity patients corresponded level above average or high: peak oxygen consumption 17 (14.7 21.0) mL/min/kg with a threshold load power 100 (90 120) W. levels based questionnaire scoring 53 (50 55) points physical component health 52 56) psycho-emotional health. No significant associations found rate, life, CPET parameters. Conclusion. did not show any negative results followup. of  recipients characterized by high capacity  after OHT.
